Julie Johnston
Paralegal
Julie Johnston is our firm's criminal defense paralegal. She is highly experienced in DUI case analysis, suppression issues, trial prep, and juvenile and DCFS cases. She also specializes in expungements, reductions, and any post-sentencing modifications.
She began her educational and career path as a teenager grading students' essays for college professors while also school at WSU. After raising her children, she returned to school to earn her bachelor's degree while also working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a Guardian ad Litem in Second District Court where she investigated cases and advocated for children in court.
She has a lifelong passion for writing, research, and helping others, and finds great satisfaction in applying law, logical reasoning, and compassion to help her clients. When not working, she loves spending time with her family camping and hiking in the great mountains of Utah and around the world.

- Bachelor's Degree in English with Honors, with a minor in Legal Studies from Weber State University
- Paralegal Certificate from WSU
- Court Appointed Special Advocate for Guardian ad Litem
- Graduate of Citizens' Police Academy for Davis County
